Sickleholme Triumph

 

On Bank Holiday Monday Sickleholme beat lees Hall 2 games to 1 in the final of the SUGC Interclub Foursomes played at Lindrick GC.

 

In very hot and dry conditions Sickleholme Triumphed – Wayne Reynolds and Steve Hartly lead the line winning 2&1, Nigel Matthews and John Wordsworth clinched the win with a 2 up victory and Chris Bee and Richard Bashforth were very unlucky to finish 1 down having fought back from 4 Down

 

Our congratulations go to the team on the day but also to Joe Lovatt, Craig Stirr, Nigel Presswood and Dean Jepson who played in previous rounds and helped get Sickleholme to the final.
