AN INVITATION FROM THE EGGS

The EGGS are a long-established part of the club which consists of members who like to play their golf reasonably early in the day and who welcome other members on a regular or occasional basis. Why not join them for a game and see what you think?

There is a draw for partners at 8.30am on Tuesdays and a similar arrangement on a Thursday when you would be made very welcome. In addition to these informal gatherings, the EGGS stage six official club competitions each year, have 15 matches planned for 2018 against other clubs, hold two joint events each year with the ladies’ section and arrange several away days and short golf breaks.

The EGGS are a very sociable group with plenty of opportunities for a light lunch and chat after the golf plus a superb Christmas event, the occasional curry night and slightly more formal meals after the matches and a couple of the competitions. The EGGS are also proud of their charity fund raising and have a reputation for good humour and banter. Give them a try!
