Rest assured that the club is in a very sound financial position, and we still have a healthy development reserve. My message is the same as in March - we have cash in the bank and we don't want to squander it.
We continue to receive a steady stream of applications to join the club from both gents and ladies and it is gratifying to hear that the overwhelming reason for wanting to join us is the atmosphere and friendliness of Sickleholme.
I hope you have enjoyed your golf in 2009 and I look forward to everyone supporting the remaining social functions at the clubhouse and the Annual Dinner at Baldwin's Omega in February. On behalf of Heather and myself may I take this opportunity of wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas, a Prosperous and Peaceful New Year and even better golf in 2010.
